DWC Midlands joins forces with Midlands Branch of sister company Proten Services

Following the acquisition of Proten Services by holding company UK Property Repair Group in March 2011, DWC Specialist Contractors and Surveyors and sister company Proten Services have been working closely together to build a strong and stable company, leveraging off their combined experience.

As part of a continued strategic vision for DWC and Proten Services to distinguish themselves as market leaders in the damp proofing industry, the activities of DWC Midlands Branch have been merged into the activities of Proten Services Midlands Branch. DWC will continue to focus on providing damp proofing and property preservation solutions in their core areas of London, Essex, Kent, Suffolk and Sussex as well as continuing to provide Head Office support for both DWC and Proten Services.

Don Martin CSRT/CSSW who has worked with DWC for almost 3 years and Ken Hume of Proten Services welcome the change. Ken Hume comments, ‘this is about the bringing together of talent, experience and expertise of Proten and DWC’s surveyors and support staff into one cohesive team. We believe this will allow us to be better equipped to service the growing needs and demands of new and existing clients and enhance the service we can offer across the region.’

Don Martin echoes this sentiment and is keen to reassure his clients it is business as usual. ‘The service I have provided through DWC, I will continue to provide through Proten but with the benefit of a larger team and support network behind me. Since the acquisition two years ago, I have been working closely with Ken Hume, David Murray and the Proten team. 

It is a pleasure to now join forces and work together to focus our Midlands presence and further improve the way in which we can support and offer more cost effective solutions to our clients, which we are confident can only be of benefit to those we do business with.’
